Dott. Michele Damone

His background is in behavioural science. He trained in criminology and criminal profiling at the universities of Bologna and Leuven: the study of how people behave, decide and reveal themselves under pressure.

He began his career not in an office but on the ground, with people in extreme situations. With the United Nations in Kenya and East Africa, he worked with survivors of human trafficking and maritime piracy, and with people in prison. He then worked on the human side of the Fukushima nuclear accident: how the people who dealt with it made decisions, and the psychological toll it took on them. He has also worked alongside leaders operating in war and conflict settings.

Since 2010 he has advised senior officials of the United Nations system and national governments, Members of the European Parliament, and CEOs and founders of international companies. He is an ICF Professional Certified Coach with more than 2,500 coaching hours, a registered personality assessor with the British Psychological Society, and a contributor to the Forbes Coaches Council. He works internationally from Vienna, and hosts private retreats in Puglia.

His work brings together validated psychometrics, heart-rate biofeedback and time in nature and with horses: the Nature Motivation method.

He works in English, Italian and Spanish.
